Animate My Gifs, Please!
This is our "animate our visitor's picture files" page.  Do you have several different picture files you would like to animate? Or would you like to create a small slide show for your website or multimedia presentation, but don't have the time or correct software to do it?  Well, just send your picture files to us, and we'll animate them for you!  So what are we charging for this amazing custom-animation service? Nothing!  And what's the catch? Nothing!  All we ask is that if you use the animation on your website, consider linking back to us! And tell your friends, family, co-workers and dog how awesomely cool this website is!

First, though, let's look at a few
examples of animated gifs, and the source picture files we used to create them:

Transition Effects:
Animating your picture files or clipart is quite straightforward. It is simply a group of pictures, usually the same size, played in sequence at a certain number of frames per second.  Animation #1 uses the clock and diagonal transition effects (see below). Animations #2 and #3 use no special transition effects and are simply played in sequence.  Scroll to the bottom of the page for information on ordering your animated gif.

Animated Gif Examples:
Bar Slide
Clock
Page Peel
Diamond
Star Wipe
Iris
No Transition

Here's what we need to animate your picture files:

1. Assemble your picture files.  You must not submit more than 4 separate pictures.
2. Your files must be in .jpg or .gif format (you can email each picture to us as separate attachments, or zip them onto one file).
3. Be sure that each picture has the same length and width in pixels. Each picture must be NO LARGER than 150 x 150 pixels. For example:
150x100 Pixels
YES
150x150 Pixels
YES
175x125 Pixels
NO
130x175 Pixels
NO
We need to keep the number and size of the images as small as possible, to minimize the final size of the animation file. Although not always possible, you should keep animations on your web site to 100kb or less.  This enables your site to load quicker, so you won't lose any visitors (many will give up on viewing a site if it takes too long to load).

If your file is the wrong format, or you need to easily crop or resize it, this freeware photo package from Google is available (we highly recommend it):
4. Let us know if you would like any kind of special transition effects between each photo, or no transition effects.  (You can pick from the examples above)
5.  Email the photos and info to us at animatemypics@your3dsource.com  Or copy and paste the address:   animatemypics@your3dsource.com.  We once had a form for this stuff, but we were bombarded with spam! So, we have to do it this old-fashioned way!
6. We should have your animation ready in one to three days, depending on the number of submissions.  Enjoy!

IMPORTANT!!!

We will be forced to reject your submission if:
You submit more than 4 picture files;
All the photos are not the same size, or larger than 150 pixels by 150 pixels (see above);
You do not specify a transition style, or at least tell us you don't want any transition effects;
You send us one picture file and ask us "please animate this". What are we animating exactly? There's only one pic! (Yep this really happens!)
